The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) 2025 is a program designed to help farmers, horticulturalists, and forestry owners in England invest in equipment and technology to boost productivity, manage slurry, and improve animal health and welfare.
There are three types of grants available:
• Productivity grant – includes equipment to improve efficiency and profitability (e.g., robotic drills, rainwater harvesting tanks).
• Slurry Management grant – includes tools to enhance slurry collection, storage, and spreading (e.g., robotic slurry collectors, low-emission slurry spreaders).
• Animal Health & Welfare grant – includes items to support livestock health (e.g., precision feeding systems, ventilation systems).
Key details:
• The application window is from 29 May 2025 to 10 July 2025.
• You can apply for each of the three grants listed above, however, you can only submit one application for each theme and each application must be between £1,000 and £25,000.
• To be eligible you must be a farmer, horticulturalist, forestry owner, or contractor. Additionally, your business must be registered with the RPA and have a Single Business Identifier (SBI).
The fund is competitive, meaning applications will be scored based on their impact and demand. If oversubscribed, priority may be given to applicants who have not received significant funding in previous rounds.
