Richard comes from a farming background, grew up on Exmoor, plays rugby for Tiverton, and is the owner of Douglas. Following university in Dublin and Geneva, Richard spent two years in publishing before deciding on a career change and joining Acorn Rural Property Consultants in January 2019.
Bella is from a farming background and grew up in East Devon. She completed her BSc (Hons) in Rural Land Management at The Royal Agricultural University in the summer of 2019 and, after a brief spell away from the West Country, was pleased to come back and join Acorn Rural Property Consultants in December 2019.
Sarah is a qualified chartered certified accountant with some 14 years’ experience in the accountancy sector. Whilst growing up just over the Devon border in Wellington, Sarah has always enjoyed outdoor pursuits such as horse riding and walking and has a passion for the theatre. She joined Acorn Rural Property Consultants at the end of 2019.
Secretary and Office Administrator
Dayna grew up in Devon and studied A-level Law & Business. She has worked for several law firms, most recently as a Legal Secretary, before deciding on a change to work in surveying and joined Acorn Rural Property Consultants in September 2020. Dayna is a former European and World champion in Taekwon-do and now enjoys boxing.
Tom grew up in the South Hams and is now based near Tiverton. He read Geography at Worcester University before completing an MSc in Rural Estate Management at the Royal Agricultural University. Tom works for a sister company of Acorn Rural Property Consultants delivering a contract researching unregistered common land.
Harrison is new to the world of rural consultancy and to the West Country. He grew up in East Anglia and has recently completed his MGeol (Hons) in Geology at the University of Leicester. Harrison moved to the South West and joined the common land research team in September 2020.
Henry grew up on a farm on the outskirts of Newton Abbot and has recently graduated from the University of Reading with a BSc in Human and Physical Geography. He is enthusiastic in his interest in the environment and is very pleased to be part of the team researching unregistered common land.
Douglas accompanies Richard on walks and various sporting expeditions, mainly in the Westcountry, and is head of barketing and security at Acorn Rural Property Consultants. Douglas was office based but is now on extended gardening leave following his over-enthusiastic interpretation of his roles and a re-appraisal of his career prospects.
