Every now and then a snippet of information come across our desks that is immediately eye catching and interesting. Today’s news from Defra that Devon-based company Fishtek Marine has been working on a new low impact scallop fishing method using “scallop discos” definitely meets that test. The Defra press release also includes the fascinating information that scallops have 200 eyes.
