Planning permission secured for extension of dwelling in Exmoor National Park

Acorn Rural Property Consultants has secured planning permission for a two-storey extension to a dwelling in the Exmoor National Park. The application addressed complex policy issues around the percentage increase in living accommodation due to a previously built outbuilding.

The proposal was carefully designed using materials including natural slate for the roof, heritage-style windows, and a mix of red brick and clay hanging tiles for the walls. By demonstrating that the combined floorspace adhered to policy, we successfully obtained approval.
