Maximising value by unlocking development and diversification potential

Ecology and biodiversity

The developing public policy arena and changes to the statutory framework as the measures in the Environment Act 2021 come into force have significantly increased the need for specialist input in assessing ecological value and biodiversity. Our in-house ecologist is a member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) and supports our clients who require ecological appraisals, Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) and Environmental impact Assessment calculations, particularly in connection with development projects.

Our aim is to provide realistic and proportionate advice and to identify practical solutions where mitigation measures are required to offset the ecological damage caused by development or to achieve mandatory levels of BNG. Please browse our service pages below for more information.
