Planning permission obtained for agricultural buildings for vegetable grower

Acorn Rural Property Consultants has secured planning permission for the erection of two agricultural buildings near Kentisbeare, Mid Devon. The new buildings will support the farm’s vegetable production enterprise, which covers approximately 1,200 acres, as well as its growing cattle operations.

The two buildings will deliver a combined floor space of approximately 18,000 square feet. One will provide essential space for the storage, processing and packing of vegetables, while the other will be used for livestock housing and the storage of feed, straw, and machinery.

In addition to supporting the farm’s operations, the developments will deliver a biodiversity net gain exceeding 10% through carefully designed landscaping.
