We have successfully secured Class Q approval for the conversion of two agricultural buildings into seven dwellings at a site in the countryside in Somerset. This approval was obtained under the updated Class Q permitted development right, which allows the conversion of buildings that are part of an established agricultural unit, as well as the change of use of buildings that were (but are no longer) part of an established agricultural unit. Under the updated regulations, up to 10 dwellings can be created on an established agricultural unit.
If you have a building that you are considering converting into residential use, whether through full planning permission or permitted development rights, then please do get in touch with us. We are always pleased to speak to existing or new clients alike and do not charge for having a chat on the telephone.
