Richard Sanders
Junior Surveyor

Richard comes from a farming background, grew up on Exmoor, plays rugby for Tiverton, and is the owner of Douglas. Following university in Dublin and Geneva, Richard spent two years in publishing before deciding on a career change and joining Acorn Rural Property Consultants in January 2019.

Isabella Pyne
Graduate Surveyor

Bella is from a farming background and grew up in East Devon. She completed her BSc (Hons) in Rural Land Management at The Royal Agricultural University in the summer of 2019 and, after a brief spell away from the West Country, was pleased to come back and join Acorn Rural Property Consultants in December 2019.

Sarah Potter

Sarah is a qualified chartered certified accountant with some 14 years’ experience in the accountancy sector. Whilst growing up just over the Devon border in Wellington, Sarah has always enjoyed outdoor pursuits such as horse riding and walking and has a passion for the theatre. She joined Acorn Rural Property Consultants at the end of 2019.

Martin Skuse

Martin grew up near Bath and initially worked in administration and accounts before travelling abroad and deciding on a career change. Martin has over 20 years’ experience as a Landscape Designer, working in Worcester and for Dundee City Council, before relocating to Devon in 2005. He joined Acorn Rural Property Consultants in February 2020.

Katherine Boyns
Secretary & Office Administrator

Katherine had an equestrian upbringing in the New Forest which was followed by a multi-faceted career in London and Mauritius, using and acquiring skills in administration, marketing, event organisation, education and retail. Choosing to return to the UK, Katherine is settled in Devon and joined Acorn Rural Property Consultants in 2018.

Sealyham Terrier

Douglas accompanies Richard on walks and various sporting expeditions, mainly in the Westcountry, and is head of barketing and security at Acorn Rural Property Consultants. Douglas was office based but is now on extended gardening leave following his over-enthusiastic interpretation of his roles and a re-appraisal of his career prospects.
