Following a pilot earlier this year, a new procedure for submitting some types of planning appeals has been introduced in additional local authority areas. The new form is designed to be simpler and more intuitive and includes validation to ensure that submissions include the correct information. Appeal applications in these local authority areas must now be made on the GOV.UK website rather than the Appeals Casework Portal (ACP).
Final comments on the submission process for the new service will be released soon and a list of the authorities that are using the new form are found here.
