Retrospetcive planning permission secured for forestry contractor

Acorn Rural Property Consultants have successfully secured retrospective planning permission for the extension of premises utilised by a tree surgery and forestry contractor within the scenic South Devon National Landscape. The approval authorises the retention of a newly erected building and an area of hardstanding that were initially constructed without prior planning consent. The proposal received support under local plan policies relating to development in the countryside and fostering rural economic development. Potential landscape impacts were mitigated through a landscaping scheme that features new hedgebanks and tree planting to integrate the development with its surroundings.
