Small Dairy Farmers Scheme open for applications

The Small Dairy Farmers Scheme opened for applications on 24 April 2017.   The scheme offers a one off payment to eligible farmers who apply for funding.  A total of £8.5 million is available and the payment to farmers who qualify for funding will be based on production in 2015 – 2016.  The payment rate will be calculated after the application deadline on 31 May 2017.  Defra say they aim to make payments by the end of July 2017.

Applications can be submitted to Defra by post or email.  Find out more about the scheme on GOV.UK.
