Acorn Rural Property Consultants has successfully obtained full planning permission for a replacement dwelling with an integral annexe to provide for multi-generational living, a detached carport, and a detached domestic outbuilding in the countryside. Offering an impressive 8,100 square feet of floor space to replace a two-bedroom bungalow, we demonstrated that the development complies with local plan policies supporting replacement dwellings outside built-up areas. Careful consideration was given to formulating the approved design to deliver a high-quality and distinctive development appropriate for the countryside setting. The design features modern aesthetics and includes stepping the dwelling into the sloping topography of the site to integrate it into the landscape and enhance its visual appeal. The local planning authority determined that it was a considerable improvement over the existing building, which was judged to be detrimental to the setting of  listed buildings and a conservation area.
