Further extension of moratorium on possession claims

With effect from 22 August, the temporary rule that suspends all evictions and possession claims against residential and commercial tenants and mortgagors has been extended until 20th September 2020. The moratorium was due to end on 23 August and there is already a large backlog of claims that the courts will have to process when the moratorium no longer applies.
