Basic payment scheme

The Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) differs from its predecessor the Single Payment Scheme (SPS) with added complexities in the form of requirements such as greening.  As with SPS, BPS payments are fundamentally important to the profitability of the majority of farming enterprises.

We are registered agents with the Rural Payments Agency and carry out all aspects of BPS work.  We act for farmers in updating their rural land registry maps, completing their claims and advising them on greening requirements and cross compliance rules.  We have also represented claimants during all stages of appeals against the RPA, including advocacy at appeal panel hearings.
